History

Lifehouse Church began with a handful of people from Newfrontiers churches purposefully moving to the Nashville area.

In September of 2002, lifehouse was launched and began working primarily among late teens and early twenties. The church initially met at the Franklin YMCA on Sunday evenings, then moved to building 8 at the factory on Saturday nights. Word-of-mouth spread; people were saved, baptized, and added to the new community.

In October of 2005 a consistent meeting place was secured and Lifehouse held our first ever Sunday morning meeting. Over the next several years we felt God increasing our vision and felt stirred to pray specifically for university students and for families with young children.

In March of 2009 we had outgrown our meeting facility in cool springs and headed back to the Franklin YMCA gym, but this time on Sunday mornings.

Over the next year it became clear that God was leading us to become a multi-location church. We were reaching people in downtown Nashville and in the spring hill area, yet our meetings were held in Franklin. in march 2010, with much prayer and preparation, we stepped out in faith and ended our Franklin venue and simultaneously started two new venues in spring hill and downtown Nashville. We are excited to see what God has in store for us in the future as we live together on His mission.
