Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all others.

Romans 12:4-5

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.

Ephesians 2:19

Becoming a Member

Following Christ brings us into God’s family, and he calls each of us to participate and minister within the church. 1 Corinthians 12:27 says “Now you are the body of Christ…”, and just as each part of our physical bodies play an important role, each part of Christ’s body (the church) also has a vital function to do: “good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). Members of Lifehouse live as missionaries, taking the gospel to the city and people around us. By receiving God’s grace, we allow God to work through us as he impacts our families, workplaces, and schools.

We also serve in the church itself, helping with Sunday services, children’s ministries, prayer meetings, lifegroups, and much more.

Being a member at Lifehouse Church is being part of a family and committing ourselves to the purposes of God and to one another.  At the same time, membership also means that the leadership of the church commits to loving and equipping you with counsel, guidance, prayer and care.  If you’re interested in membership, we ask that you first attend a Discover Lifehouse class, which is simply a chance for us to get to know each other better.
